Unless you apply the “justice being blind” and EQUAL protection concepts, looking at the despicable disparity of prosecution between the bad actors at the capitol and the repeat offending domestic terrorists who rioted for months on end. If you did that honestly, you would have to conclude that the capitol offenders are getting hugely unfair sentences by comparison.

Pitiful excuse to try and cover for what happened at our Capitol - the biggest threat to our democracy since the civil war.

There is nothing in my post that remotely excuses the violence at the capitol. It only points out the vast disparity and, I believe hypocrisy, in the application of the law.

If you believe the capitol violence was the greatest threat to our democracy since the civil war, you shouldn’t be out without adult supervision - that is an absolutely ludicrous statement. Do you honestly believe there was ANY likelihood of the transfer of power being stopped?
