Yep, read the bill as soon as it was published, long before your post(s). So much smoke and mirrors in it. It's my money, and I have every RIGHT to want to know where it's going. Don't you want to know also? Or are you content to think that it's all going to be spent for worthwhile items?

And if you would kindly re-read my post again, I never said the infrastructure bill was worthwhile. I said I had no problems with money that was being spent on actual infrastructure projects, but I have a lot of problems with money being wasted on pet Democrat projects that will yield NOTHING, just like Solindra did under Obama.

Back in the 1950’ when Africa Americans were still being severely oppressed and signs read no blacks and no ***s .
Back in the 1960’s when the concept of free love and anti Vietnam war was raging
Back in the 1970’s with the lying cheating con man Richard Nixon and run away inflation ?

AMERICA has ALWAYS been struggling to be great based on the core values of our historical origin. It’s a constant struggle of right vs wrong - good vs evil defined into the Constitution our past leaders designed . He certainly isn’t referring to civility as he mocks, slanders , and supports violence against non supporters.

The “concept” of Trump was good - the reality of Trump himself has become the greatest threat to our democracy since the civil war. As if our nation isn’t already great - trump wants to destroy America and become dictator.

Bidens Infrastructure deal is in large part towards fixing and upgrading the hardware of our equipment and systems . That’s towards KEEPING America great.

Maybe you're too young to remember "the good old days" but I think (and this is only my opinion) that President Trump's MAGA slogan harkens back to a time when people were not being deliberately divided by race, color and creed. A time when kids could go outside and play without supervision. A time when you didn't lock your doors at night. A time when criminals were actually punished, either by terms in jail or, in extreme cases, by death. A time when we could laugh at movies like Blazing Saddles, or enjoy "All in the Family" or "The Jefferson's, or even Sanford & Son on TV. None of those shows could even be made today because people are so uptight that "someone" would be offended, and God knows, we can't offend anyone. A kinder, gentler time. I don't think he had a specific date in mind, rather more of how we, as a nation, conducted ourselves. A time when America was great.
