WTI is now @$83.51 a barrel. Under President Trump it was stable in the mid $50 a barrel range. So what changed from 2019 to 2021?

Actually, that story was circulated by an "anonymous source close to the Trump Campaign" that a conversation was overheard where he (President Trump) supposedly said that. No proof was ever submitted or was ever given to back it up. No name of the source was ever released.

Alyssa Farah, a White House spokesperson, said shortly after the story was posted: “This report is false. President Trump holds the military in the highest regard. He’s demonstrated his commitment to them at every turn: delivering on his promise to give our troops a much needed pay raise, increasing military spending, signing critical veterans reforms, and supporting military spouses. This has no basis in fact.”

President Trump has consistently shown in his actions and in his speeches that he holds our military in the highest regard. Your clinging to that myth about his saying differently just shows everyone that because of your hatred for President Trump you would rather believe unsubstantiated lies and innuendos rather than truth and facts.
