CNN doing an excellent job covering this Afghanistan situation with reporters in country with live reports.
CNN also deeply questioning President Bidens handling of this thing from his past comments to what comes next . My own opinion based on all data so far is: 1. No matter how we withdrew Taliban was going to quickly take over. 2. Biden Admin did a lousy job of planning and initiating. A more deliberate measures step by step approach would have been much better. |

We've gone from "we planned for every contingency!" to "it would have been chaos no matter what we did" in less than 24 hours.
We have the Defense Secretary saying that "we don't have the capability to go out and collect large numbers of people," despite the fact that British paratroopers are doing JUST THAT, getting their citizens and the Afghanis who worked for them out of hiding and to the airport. And who's bright idea was it to evacuate military before civilians? All of this despite having no less than 7 months to prepare? And then there's the ABC exclusive interview with Biden, of which I've only seen a few minutes because it hasn't been released in its entirety yet (if it ever will be) and the link that ABC put up for a transcript isn't working. Here's one exchange: George Stephanopoulos: “But we’ve all seen the pictures. We’ve seen those hundreds of people packed into a C-17. We’ve seen Afghans falling —“ Joe Biden: [Angrily cuts him off] “That was four days ago, five days ago.” What? It was the day before yesterday. And what difference does it make even if it was a week ago? Our country is in the worst of hands, led by an addle minded fool. |

I give kudos to Clarissa Ward (CNN) for her live reporting from Kabul. She is doing a good job.

See the speech made by the above pictured veteran MP Tom Tugendhat. 7+ minutes but well worth your time. It is at this link: https://twitter.com/JamesAALongman/s...54085324484608 |

I trust the judgment and remarks of a man who fought alongside the Afghanistan military 100 times more than those of addle minded Joe. (not to mention one who can form complete and coherent sentences without the assistance of a teleprompter)

Analysis: TRUE
Love him or hate him but Trump would be taking questions every day. He’d also threaten Afghanistan with nukes if a single American was harmed. The media would call him Hitler while the Taliban was quickly loading every American onto exiting planes. He wouldn’t have left them. I for one would much rather have a President the media hates, but the world fears. |

Even this softball interview shows the ineptness and dishonesty of the President. And that's without seeing what was left on the edit room floor.
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bide..._live_hero_hed I'd say it's 25th Amendment time, but the prospect of President Kamala is just as frightening. |
