It will be just fine, but, will require you to check often for buildup. Just keep it clean and continue on having fun.

I use copp0er ring terminals crimped in place. Funny thing, the USCG will not approve a soldered lug, unless you can prove that the lug was crimped before it was soldered. With the idea being, if it gets hot enough under load(yes, I've seen this) that the cable will fall out of the soldered lug or connector. I just crimp and shrink sleeve terminal ends.

Cam thanks fir the reply I will continue to use the end that's bolted like the ones in cars, I sprayed it with battery protector
Spareparts ,thanks for your reply too, I ordered a variety of tinned ends from Amazon but my problem is I don't have a crimp tool, That is great info on what the USCG recommends , never thought it could get to hot and cause it to fall out, and you seen this happen? That's crazy do you feel the same way Cam thinks about what I'm using?
