Yeah I get that I know it’s not a race boat and I don’t plan on whipping around pylons at 60 mph. But the boat handled pretty well with the 225 I wouldn’t say it’s absolutely needed but if one where to fall into your lap at a good price I wouldn’t have any qualms about putting it on there. If I was buying a new motor yeah a 150 - 175 would be adequate

I do have to admit it brought me satisfaction cruising right by this guy I knows $60k boat with my cobbled together $7k boat..LOL
