Funny you say its backwards, get into 30-40 footers and trying to do it from the inside is backwards. Not a problem at this end on alignment.
Got 4 skill saw blades same as the one used to cut it, tabbed in with 8 blocks. Dead balls on! will remove, fasten form for building up transom, glass it then reinstall tabbing it back in place between the blocks then removing the blocks and tabbing the rest. Making some headway as we pulled it from the woods 30 days ago today, into the shop 12/6 and the hull is now wood free IMG_4160.jpg IMG_4168.jpg IMG_4167.jpg |

Got started on the stringer pour this week, went well but a messy job. putting continuing on hold due to the cold temps not going to try to keep the shop 80 degrees when its going to be 9 out
added a pvc wire chase, moving the batteries forward of the fuel tank IMG_4550.jpg IMG_4546.jpg Last edited by Dana A; 01-28-2021 at 08:56 PM. |

To cold to pour or glass so it been triple check the leveling of the hull, stringer alignments/heights etc
Happy with the transom height, 24 5/8 right where we wanted it to be. Have to say these kids are rocking it! IMG_4622.jpg IMG_4627.jpg IMG_4629.jpg IMG_4641.jpg IMG_4630.jpg |

Got back into the hull over the weekend now that the temps have come out of the teens at night.
How much seacast does it take to do a transom raise to 25" and stringers on a V20 ? 10 5gal pails, Figured it to be approx 10,000 cubic inches (little under, 9700 ish) However we came up about a gallon short due to me not informing the mathematician to figure the spine of the hull into the equation. The block of wood in the stern for the bilge pump was torn out and the area was built up with seacast and glassed in.
