Happy Thanksgiving!

Think twice about that 4th plate, that's the one that hurts.

I was just commenting how thanksgiving seems to get smaller and quieter every year. Family spread out and some gone prematurely, everybody enjoy my favorite holiday surrounded by your loved ones. It’s bittersweet for me. Still a good day.

Got the turkey in the oilless fryer. Dressing, oyster casserole, green bean casserole ready for the oven. White acre peas in the instant pot. Baked oysters for snacks

Townes Van Zant station on Alexa
Normally we load up and go to South Georgia for a 20 + family thing. Not this year
Staying home
Just the wife & kids

Kinda likin this Covid style holiday

It sure was a simpler one for us this year. Didn't stop me from roasting a 21 lb turkey, though. Still eating leftovers! Yum!
