Mostly bad back, hip, and knees. They can't figure out why I'm in so much pain all the time. My wife keeps saying I told you not to keep working all those years after my last bad car accident. All they can do for me is give me pills to try and take the edge off of it, but all those pills come with a LONG list of problems.

that sucks, bro. having had all 3, I know the pain that comes with it. have you tried the gym? does working out help, or hurt? PT? gotta be something you can do. I know those back injuries can take a couple years to heal.

For me I let it all get so bad before I did anything that now I'm just about bedridden, so physical activity is just about a thing of the past for me.

Sorry to hear about your health issues! I hope the warmer weather will help you feel better. As the others have said you and Spare and a lot of guys have helped us all through the years solve different problems, and we all appreciate your advice! You should start an online advice web page, and charge for it. I turn 61 this August and have arthritis in my back and now my knees and with some pain pills and a little extra rest I'm still working but its definitely getting harder and more painful. I tried physical therapy and it made it worse for me. It sucks getting old. I used to wonder why my granddaddy was bent over all the time, now I know why. I'm not gonna stop for fear of getting so stiff I wont be able to go again. You gotta keep kicking no matter what!

I went on pain pills 4 years ago, now I'm just about maxxed out per the new guidelines. I keep hoping Washington will get it's head out of there rectum, and legalize marijuana. I know several who say it has helped them tremendously, but I have to do a piss test every 3 months, and thc is a nono. They're mad enough I use CBD oil which mine has enough thc in it I test positive. I've actually had to take it in to prove what I take. Another Dr I was with refused to treat anybody using thc or even legal CBD. I don't know if it would help, I just want the option to try it without fear of repurcussions for it.

well, just rest then. i'm pulling for you, pal. hopefully, all that rest will help heal your body. just take it easy and try not to reinjure yourself. the human body is amazing in that it has a way of repairing itself. I wanna hang out and fish when I get down there. i'm gonna need you to be able bodied for that to happen. heal up, bro. we gonna eat us some fish tacos.

Here's a copy & paste of what I posted on fascistbook. I've been taking it easy, yet still managed to do this. My orth hip Dr wants me to see a spinal surgeon about the l5-s1 as he said it is causing most of my current hip problems. Currently my back sounds like somebody crumpling a water bottle when I roll over to get out of bed.

Looks as though I've screwed my back up. Just got back from my hip Dr about my MRI's, said there's nothing they can do about my hip, it's all scar tissue and arthritis, but I have some herniated disc's now causing me problems. My L5-S1 is pinching my nerve root causing me to lose all feeling and lose some function in my left leg. And my T11-L1 has herniations and annular tears. I have a feeling if they MRI the rest of my back going up they will find more as it was my upper lumbar and neck that was the worst the last time I had MRI's done.

So I decided to head over to HOOTERS for lunch.
