I’m taking it seriously - evaluation for starting cardiac rehab is on the 27th. Not being able (allowed) to lift, push or pull more than 10 pounds or drive for around 6 weeks is not in my nature but I’m staying with it and ready to jump on rehab with both feet. I’m looking forward to being more active when I can finally get retired - just doing projects I want to do instead of what other people want me to do.

Plumbing or HVAC are very good careers if your boy likes the work. With all of the energy efficient stuff, fancy controls, heat recovery, etc. in both residential and commercial, HVAC is WAY more technical than it was even a few years ago and needs some smart guys to get it done and maintained. Thanks Charlie

Destroyer..sorry its been so long...glad you went to the doc and got the hot rock ectomy...nothing like a medical episode to wake ya up, but it reminds you youre still alive...and theres a lot to be said for that.

Returning to work tomorrow after recovering from a hernia repair...no big deal...just had to lay around for a week.

Glad to hear all you guys are still kickin...

LOL That's funny Reel... The same surgeon that did my GB is about to do a hernia repair on me also. I've been putting this off forever, but it's time to stop procrastinating and get it taken care of. Hell, I even had it when we met. Glad to hear your's went well and you're about to put the traces back on. Take it easy for a while though. There's still some healing going on down there.

Right on Reel - I love my dog but Metamucil is definitely my best friend now. Also right on with the taking it easy with the hernia repair recovery - I got one fixed and over did too soon, setting a big cast iron sink into a counter and had to have it fixed again some years later.

It’s killing me to stay with instructions for open heart recovery but it’s definitely the fastest way back to good shape. Hah - us older guys and our operations

Always been lucky with not needing things like that except for just after my GB operation. Hopefully I won't need it after this one either. No problem with the couch potato lifestyle.... until the weather warms up and I can give some worms and flies a bath in the local trout stream that is. Then I might just relax by the side of the babbling brook. Nothing like a Trout dinner in a frying pan over an open fire to make one get back to the real important things in life.... Like planning the next Salmon fishing trip....
