I'm going to get some kind of automotive weatherstripping epoxy and set it in that I think..

Supposed to be on the top cowling. I got a new one on Boats.net for $50-$60.

Makes sense skunk, it would be awkward on the bottom cowl. Paul I was just going to apply it to certain points I wasn't going to go all around for that reason. But your rite silicone would be best ! Thanks men.

Well my surging issues are back again,, obviously need to do a fuel pressure test and go through that ignition system. Problem is This is not easy for me .ive got a 7:45 MRI of my neck again this morning because As unbelievable as it may seem just 4 months to the day of my spine surgery I'm having terrible pain in my left arm shoulder and hand again and the weakness is getting worse ,I may just call someone in so I can just be done with this problem and have one less thing to obsess over haha.. ..

Ugh on the returning pain John. You know..... Sometimes that comment about calling someone in is the best answer, even if it doesn't sound like it at the time. Hope all turns out okay with the MRI.

After all my frustration of not being able to track down the problem on my Yamaha I just learned that it was all self inflicted, I'm embarrassed to say that after I did the injectors and plugs amongst other things ,one of the wires was not seated properly on the spark plug! I guess I need to slow down a bit and pay more attention! She's running real well..

There is nobody here that hasn't had that happen. If you are like me, the relief of finding it out weighs the sense of frustration that it was right in front of you. You are different from some of us because you will admit it. Glad you figured it out.
