Most of my family's heritage is of late 19th century immigrates from Ireland and Germany, looking for a better life. This was made possible due to the struggles and sacrifices of intelligent like minded people the century prior.
One of these individuals is in my Grandfathers linage bearing the same last name. Arrived in Virginia and later settled in Georgia. His name was found on a roster compiled by the Governor warning against opposition to the King. My wife also has an individual in her Grandfathers linage bearing his last name that fought in the same war. We visited his grave site earlier this year. Makes me wonder if these two may have actually known each other as they both settled and died within 60 miles of each other in southeast Georgia. Actually within 100 or so miles of where my wife and family have always lived. This same like mindedness of a few thousand is being celebrated today by millions. Uphold and protect The Constitution, have a safe and happy 4th.

Happy Fourth of July To all of you! A while back I traced my family back to 1200 in the old country. Theres even a town in England named Felton. The first Feltons came here in the 1500s. Ive always wanted to go to England and see where my family came from. Don't think I want to live there, I enjoy my freedoms here!
