John, like you said, who can make this up? LOL. Congratulations on your new grandbaby and best of luck with the upcoming surgery. I have no doubt that you, your daughter and the new baby are all going to come through this with flying colors. (And to the new baby all I have to say is ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes. It was a rough few days but most importantly the little angel and her mom are all well.i got home from the hospital yesterday morning. Im ok now as well but my body had a reaction to the new plastic material the surgeon used to make the repairs on my neck ,they mad me swell so badly that it basically was closing off my wind pipe and my wife had to run me back to the hospital in the middle of the night . That part was a bit scary I'll admit but all uphill now. And unbelievably unlike the last surgery I've lost absolutely no strength witch is totally the opposite reaction I had the last time and I have no clue as to why. And that's the sole reason I put off the second surgery for the last4 years .crazy but what do I know !!

where is the slip? are you right on guy Lombardo? what do they get for it? how long is the ride to Jeremy's ale house?
these are all factors that would have helped in my decision.

Charlie, I'm actually behind the very first house on Guy Lombardo, it's no more than a 3 minute ride to the state channel and as I mentioned in the last post I'm experiencing none of the problems that kept me off my boat after the last spine surgery. So I may be in in a month or so....
