when the green minnows come thru(they actually turn the water green they are so thick) in the summer, we can catch spanish inside Charleston Harbor, usually on the incoming tide. We caught some last year in the McKee off Topsail Island NC. If you like catching the spanish on light tackle, wait till a bonito gets in the mix. Most fun I've ever had on light tackle.

sometimes while trout fishing in the summer, you'll also run into a 3 lb lady fish (skipjack). thats also a blast on light gear.
