Only how many days till......?

We have nothing until Flounder fishing, now April 1st and Stripers start April 15th and that's if the regs. don't change again. We have two shows in March, the Sportsman Expo at the Rockland Community College and the Saltwater Fishing Expo, a bunch of us go every year. Then after the shows, around the middle of April a few of us do our yearly Fishing Tackle shops trip, we drive to Ocean County, NJ and work our way back to Staten Island, we try to hit all the mom and pop tackle shops and spend a few bucks in each.

Hopefully another month or so and the inshore waters will warm up enough for life to return.

My friend Joe and I used to do the same exact thing. Always had lots of fun.

About 30 days to go before NJ saltwater kick off.........assuming the usual assumptions.

Ok..........it's time - not every day, but it's kick off time.......2018 fishing season.
