Glad everybody made it through Irma. She was a bad one! I got a grandaughter that lives in Hollywood Florida, haven't heard from her yet.

We made it through the storm fine. Once they forecasted 100-120 mph winds for my area, we loaded up the travel trailer, and were gone. We have some friends in Slidell that let us park for free, and it was plenty far enough away. We got back this morning hoping to save what we could. No major damage to anything, mostly storm debris, and we lost everything in the fridge in the house from 36 hours of no power. Still rockin the generator, but we made it through in 1 piece.

Ferm,
Glad to hear that you and your family are ok. Video footage from around Clearwater area was scary.

Glad to hear good news from all.
Best I can tell we had 41" above the regular forecast tide.
Several subdivisions inundated from salt water intrusion into homes. Thankfully we didn't have any problems.
bradford, y'all have any problems with the surge?

Drove through it as Betz creek covered Walthour rd and Oemler Loop going to help a friend with his generator. It flooded most of Offshore subdivision. My brother in law had 16 inches in the house on the north end of Tybee Island off of Bay St. No flooding at my house thank God, and no downed trees this time, just debris. Took two 14 foot trailer loads to the dump. Power came back on today too. Only out 3 days, not too bad, praying for those with real problems.

Zoom in and you can check out aerial views of the keys. Feel bad for the folks there.
