yep there was already a long swell on Monday and no wind which wasn't ideal for fluking. I just hugged rocky spots and fished up&down for those fish.
Long swell is building today but not too crazy just 3-5ft. Fluking is over on Sept 5th! Seabass closes August 31 and doesn't re-open til Oct 22. Stripers won't be here til late Oct at best. Nothing to catch inshore for a month. Better gas up and get some tuna... Heard that some YFT showed up in the Chicken Canyon....Sunday 2ft or less...
