My daughter has a sup and carries it on here Ford Edge. She has a rack made by Thule . Before she got the rack, we took some ratchet straps and a pool noodle cut in half and strapped it to the top. I've also seen them on kayak racks that fit in your hitch receiver.

I bought a harbor freight ladder rack for my truck to haul a 16 ft canoe. I think they are $299 and then u can use a 20 % off coupon. THey are adjustable to fit any truck. Biggest problem is the rear cross support does not come off. After u hit your head getting in the bed a couple times u will remember its there.

Thanks! Ive seen some good options. Id like something I can take off when I'm not using. Some of the roof racks are really pricey!

The big ladder rack comes with J bolts to hold it on if u don't want to drill holes in the top of bed. it will unbolt easy but would take a couple people to lift it to make sure u don't scratch the truck. I wouldn't want to take it on and off a lot. not sure about the smaller rack.
