Well, I was trying to beat the no see ums to the ramp. Ended up unloading the boat when they were in full swing. Them little bugs are just down right NASTY. The 2 nights of fresh fish dinner for us, my grandparents, and the neighbor made it worthwhile though. Just have to suck it up and deal with it I guess. Just consider myself lucky, it might cool off enough I have to leave my sweats on all day, now THAT would be a tragedy.

I pay for it every year when it goes from taking 8-10 minutes to drive across town to 45-60 minutes to do the same drive in winter time.

Spare, you have a better chance of seeing me than Ferm does. Fla is just to friggin hot and humid for these old northern bones. Northern SC or southern NC is the maximum amount of southern movement we are looking at. Northern NC might be more suited to us. Still a little hot, but at least you don't have the crippling humidity that Georgia and Florida do.

We hit a record low down here in the keys for this time of year it was 62 last week. I had to wear some layers to stay warm. This is ridiculous!!

Spread the word then so they will stop coming down here. But in reality, summer is nicer here than Jersey, and I've experienced both. I've been to over half the US, and summer in Florida(at least my part of Florida) is the nicest. The downside is it stays warm almost year round. I refuse to go through the Carolinas in summer, just way to hot and muggy for me. Summertime highs where I am are normally in the low to mid 90's, not that triple digit crap I've experienced in the midwest. Yes we do have humidity in the 70-90% range, but there is almost always a breeze, and it really isn't that bad unless you lose the breeze(like I did Saturday feeshin).
