Concours d'Elegance was on the island. http://www.hhiconcours.com/events/overview.html My 1967 VW Beetle convertible was asked to participate in the Saturday event which is called the Showcase. Not the actual Concours, the Showcase takes place the day before, it features all kinds of cars. My VW is a driver, not a trailer queen and definitely not "Concours" level, but this year's European feature was the cars of Germany and none of the clubs had an air cooled VW, so . . . Had a wonderful time and got to see all manner of cars. When that was over I went home, enjoyed a drink and a good meal and watched the Breeders' Cup. Fantastic day!

Happy Birthday Pipe, sorry it's a few days late. It looks like there's still a few oldies (members, not age) still around. I'm seeing alot of new names (which is always good).
