I wish I would've dug it out of the back of my garage a month sooner than I did. Getting colder up here and no one needs an engine. I may part it out and keep a few of the new things that will work on my 200. The tilt/trim motor has like 10 mins use time on it alone, and it's a factory piece.

Swap the tilt /trim units, keep the new one for yourself, keep the rest of the engine whole and in a few months you'll be able to get top dollar for it as the weather turns warm again. Nothing like springtime to make a person think of fishing and suddenly realize he needs an engine.

Or come springtime they fire up there engine to find out they didnt winterize it correctly, or an animal got in it and chewed things up, and they want a cheap engine to get back on the water. Boat stuff sells in spring, even down here where we boat all year, springtime is when demand and prices go up. This is the time of year where budget shoppers buy because they know supply is up and demand is down.

My price is negotiable now but come spring it's not. I sold my last engine as soon as it warmed up for my asking price.

Glad you got it sold, sounded like a great engine. If it were closer I would have bought it a long time ago.

It's supposed to be going on the back of a v20 that just sold on here. I wish I would've picked up the boat myself and hung the engine on there. Oh well I'll get my v in a few years.
