Default 08.23.2016 - Fluke fishing

Went Fluke fishing today with Joe on his skiff the MoJoe and it was another one of those day's, beautiful weather but the fish didn't care how nice it was, they weren't going bite anything. We picked away at 4 shorts and one nice 20" Fluke.

I grew up renting a wooden row boat with my dad and using our 1973 9.5 hp outboard.

When we put the motor on a tin boat it was much faster !

Then I had a 16' aluminum boat with a 40hp that I fished for about 8 years.
It moved.......and pounded till it leaked so bad I had a bilge pump rigged to keep it from sinking.

I like watching your skiff run along. It would be fun if you put a 40hp on it.........with video's reading " trying to be the first to the grounds as the captain puts the hammer down" !
