I'm with Bradford. Your kids and grandkids need you as much as you need them. A grandpa like you has a lot to add to those kids' lives over the coming years - teaching them things, enjoying your "new" boat with them and just bring their grandpa.

There are a lot of us guys who have never met you in person but care about you deeply. Over the 10+ years I've been hanging around the board, you've been consistently a strong, honest, giving, caring guy. You are appreciated and respected by a whole lot of us and I read your daughter's post a few days ago - there's sure no doubt about how much she loves you.

There's no reason to stop crying until you're ready - it doesn't mean in any way that you're not strong. Be strong and grieve your great loss and ride along on the prayers of your family and friends while you're feeling numb.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
