Nice Phat, the best part of the vid is those clamp on rod holders on your bimini. I've spent the last 2 weeks thinking of how to get another rod or two out of the way and it looks like you thought of the solution.

thanks guys. april 2 is my sons bday, so we always plan a spanish trip for him.
grey, come on over and i'll take you out. i worked in gulf shores , foley , spanish fort area in the 80's & early 90's. bet i wouldn't recognize it today. blue, they work ok for light rods, i'd like to mount one in the center also. when i take the curtains down, i rotate them out a little, their kinda in the way over the stern. thanks skunk, jake did the editing, so it's much smoother than mine. |

When trolling we usually use a Christmas tree rig, which has 4 straw droppers followed by a heavy spoon. When I fished off the piers we would use a straw rig with a clear bubble float. We made them from McDonald's straws, wire and treble hooks. I remember in the late 70's early 80's, McDonald's changed their straw colors and It was a big deal because the new color was not as good.
