Wow that's some good work backing up the trailer!
I'm terribly at it.

Question....
What is the piece of PVC pipe attached to the Bimini top used for?

I use Wondershare for my video editing. Works OK for me but I'm NOT professional.

Na40, that's a 12 volt fluorescent light. Wires run down the Bimini tubes and to a switch on the dash.

My dad had a u-haul dealership when I was young and learning to drive, it was my job to line the trailers up. I got a lot of practice and if I messed up, it wasn't our trailers. If you see a u-haul with a dinged fender, it was probably in Florida in the 70's.

The guy that recovered my bunks used something like this stuff...

Not sure if its it, but he told me its 100x better than carpet.

looks like good stuff. anything that gives cushion and dosen't hold water would be better than carpet.

Excellent work with the bunk trailer.

Where I launch, if I didn't have roller, I'd be out of luck and have to wait for tides to either come in our out. ......and I hate waiting.

OK, so whats the big deal about the carpet holding water? My bunks are 4x10 cypress, I'm sure they are original from 1988. Replaced the carpet once. It's the steel on my trailer that gives me fits. Cypress is the wood eternal.

Priced new cypress bunks a while ago, wow!, I hope mine hang in there.

Carpet holds a lot of salt water and slowly drips it all over your trailer all day while you're out on your boat. Less carpet would be better.
