I do that anyway.
What edit software do you use? This is with the GoPro studio. My son showed me what he uses at work, Vegas, i think. Seemed very complicated. He says not bad once u get used to it. Need to add titles and work on fades. Definately more fun to harvest footage than edit it |

GET A FLOATY BACK so it won't sink!!!! I have a MAC and use iMovie. EVrytime I get used to where things are Apple updates it and moves everything... If you have a PC, Windows Movie Maker used to be OK, haven't used it in years. There is a lot to do... You can't just let it run...trim it down to what gets the point across. You gotta use "Ken Burns" which zooms/pans in or out...makes it look like the camera was moving. Throw it some still shots. You can pull really great stills out of HD video The hardest part is finding the right music and timing the video to breaks in the song... "Catching" good shots has become ALMOST as rewarding as catching fish... and when you have the first tuna of the season on the line, put the camera down and concentrate on gaffing it....ask me how I know..

Good points skunk, I need to keep working on my framing. The new one has the led screen on the back, so it makes it a lot easier to preview. I have a floaty, but I also use the backpacker extra battery. The floaty won't float it.
I'm going to tie a Clorox jug to this one The program my son has will let u do the zoom in on a shot, pretty cool Thanks for the tips |

![]() they are old political signs. work great. very slippery when wet, give about as much cushion as carpet, last 3 times as long, and don't soak up salt water and drip on your trailer. Forgot to add, they are also very cheap. Last edited by phatdaddy; 01-15-2016 at 01:32 PM. |

Wow that's some good work backing up the trailer!
I'm terribly at it. Question.... What is the piece of PVC pipe attached to the Bimini top used for? I use Wondershare for my video editing. Works OK for me but I'm NOT professional.

Na40, that's a 12 volt fluorescent light. Wires run down the Bimini tubes and to a switch on the dash.
My dad had a u-haul dealership when I was young and learning to drive, it was my job to line the trailers up. I got a lot of practice and if I messed up, it wasn't our trailers. If you see a u-haul with a dinged fender, it was probably in Florida in the 70's. Last edited by phatdaddy; 01-16-2016 at 06:52 AM. |
