The time is Right NOW!
West or NW is great for bass along the beach. Bass & blues were just outside Manasquan inlet today. Try close to the north off the radio tower first, from beach out to 60 ft. Giant schools of bunker. Snag em and put em on a 8/0 circle hook, One weighed down, others free swimming. Or troll spoons or plastic shads... If it doesn't happen there head south.

All I could say is check the internet and see all the boats and picture's of stripers caught exactly where it was mentioned in this thread. I am going tomorrow hoping for the same action!

Ended up going out today, boat handled great, ocean was calm but we got a late start and from what I gathered bite shut down early, by the time boat traffic got there, me included, fishing was rough.
Great day on the water, no fish to show for it, First skunk this year for me Get out early!
