Is the sliding hatch still under the Sunbrella cover or did you remove it?

Sliding hatch - yes, still the original and works fine. I had the cover designed with snaps and rubber flange around outer edge. Pupoose is to keep water out in case of wave over bow and heavy spray conditions which was causing drip into cuddy. This worked out well as easy solution.

Well if you're running a V boat it's likely you got a wave from our boat.

Ok, yeh, we past each other about 100 miles offshore.....I was hooked up to 1,000lb Marlin at the time and I believe you were working a Tuna of similar size to your boat.
