went back this past weekend and gave it another try, the wind was a bit better














we went up to the Wooden boat muesem in Beaufort, I couldnt help my self, I had to take a picture of the "shop"

Yeah, love the shop - reminds me of my grandfather's. I want to get at least mostly retired so I can have time to build a wooden boat - can't decide between a wood kayak, row boat or a Pacific dory. Probably the kayak or row boat and use the V-20 in the ocean.

The dory is tempting though - I've watched them launching and recovering on the beach and it's pretty cool. Even been out a couple of times - really cool.

If any of ya'll are evre near Beaufort, NC I higkly recomend going by the Wooden Boat Museum, its open to the general public(free) and they have a separate shop on the water front that you can go watch them work on a boat.
