He can also look into Electric Boat in Groton CT. We are always hiring engineers. He will have to apply online. Don't get too specific on the job description just something that fits his degree and resume'. New jobs are posted all the time. Follow up with HR to make sure his application is in the system and constantly get a status update from them. They tend to provide lip service and not always much action. Be a pita with them. Let me know if he applies. We can try to keep visibility of the resume once it is in the system.
Regards

Mitsubishi Power Systems is also in Savannah and hiring. they make turbines for power plants and are good company to work for. My son interned there this summer and loved the experience he wants to possibly try for an internship at gulfstream next year for variety but will go back to Mitsubishi if not. Good luck to your son!

Hey Willy, talked to a couple guys at the bar and this topic came up. One used to work for LMI Engineering which does a lot of contract work for Gulfstream. He highly recommended your son apply there as a lot of people that have worked there have gone on to work at Gulfstream. Sort of gets their foot in the door a lot easier.

If he is not against possibly relocating, the Boeing plant in Seattle Washington is one of the largest and is always on the lookout for qualified employees... Just went on a trip there in July and one of the cousins was telling us that they were having trouble finding qualified help. Just a shot in the dark here...
