Went and looked at that boat Sunday.
The transom seemed solid but the rest of the boat was rough. The Yamaha had a 20" leg. I mentioned the shaft length it to the owner and he played dumb or was/is dumb. I'll keep looking.........

Some V's had a 20" transom and some had a 25" transom. So long as teh motor is correct for the transom, theres no issue.
