After a LONG and stressful day, William Emerson is with us. Momma was almost fully dilated, then her cervix swelled back shut. The Dr came in and said the baby wasn't coming down, and he reccomended a C section. There was a window in the OR, so she opted for the C section. So at 7:20PM, William Emerson came into this world at 6 lbs 14 onces, 18 inches long, with a 15 inch head. When the Dr got in there, he found the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, so it was a good thing we opted for the C section.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
 Tell your wife to take it easy and try to enjoy the 10 seconds of downtime she will get with her C-section... Really Happy for you. And what a strong name, I LIKE IT! Vic

Thats why we chose his name. I wanted my middle name, but a strong first name to go with it.
