didnt realize i had a choice in covers. basically i use the boat primarily on the weekends. during the week it sits on the trailer. so i want a cover to put on it during the week and also dduring the the winter when it is the barn.

I think Destroyer has posted, fairly recently, about using a pool cover. Good idea to cover it up - owl poop can build up in the barn and I'm having to replace my top after leaving it out in the sun for 6 summers. I got a sort of fitted canvas top with the boat and it's a real pain to put on and take off - I'm about to go with Destroyer's system - when he reminds us where that thread is, I'll pay attention this time.
