Looks really great Kracker! I like the hawse pipes at the stern. Nothing but the little details now.

Makes me want to fix up another one. Great Job!!

Bradford im a true believer in slick and clean gunwales! Seen to many fish lost due to exposed cleats and hardware. So hawse pipes were a must.

Yours really is beautiful. Mine had 6 inch cleats mounted on the top of the cap. When I re did it I went with 8 inch with just the two thru bolts instead of four for a cleaner look and also moved them down to the lower lip so they are tucked in a little and are on the same plane as the mid ship and bow cleats. I love my 85, but if and when I do another it will be a hull with the separate deck and cap like yours. I'm all about simple clean and functional with minimal rigging. Love your console as well. Gonna be swapping the one I have on my skiff out and I considering just building one so I can get exacting what I want.

Bradford i purposely wanted a small short console. This boat has been very well thought out. I have fished way to many boats with ridiculously huge tall and wide consoles. I dont get it! I like to be able to have good 360 degree visual on a boat. I also simply need a tach, gps/sonar,compass,steering wheel, controls, and a small switch panel. I dont need any more than that hahaha!!! The key is keeping it simple. When i get a t-top all the electronics will go up there. People make things to complicated!
