Got a big nanny Thanksgiving day. Been seeing a bunch of deer. A buddy shot his first racked buck, a young 8 point saturday.
Wont be back for another week or so.

Oh and Blue Runner, no one sticks their tongue out at us and gets away with it...... Unfortunately my buddy, and our guest, in the pic did not have permission to shoot this deer for obvious reasons.....Its down and done with but I had somethin to say about it.....

here is my hunting season photo dump for the hunting fraternity.
Kalum and I were out picking blueberrys and this guy was in the good spot loo.  kalums got his first kill with his 22  out moose hunting in the swamp  a co-workers buck  the smallest bull elk ever no its not mine haha  we had an epic journey for that little bull 3 miles in ugly country one quad two chainsaws and four guys to get it out ALLDAY LONG in this stuff  my hunting buddy on the way to the deer blind  I seen lots of monster bucks this season but never sent them to the peperoni casing but the last day kalum and I put the hammer down on this little fellow

Very nice!! That first buck had some character in that bone....
I couldnt imagine havin to drag one of those moose out, man that looks like some work!!

That moose was a big cow and damn heavy. I'm prepared to deal with them (have to be) got 500' of rope in the truck and two come alongs. I shot her down a cut line run some rope out to get drop out the insides hook up and out she came. Pulled her to the top of the berm backed down into the ditch dropped the tailgate and run out the come along and she slid right in. Best part was my buddy lives 5 miles down the road backed into his shop onto the chain fall no lifting again Yea!!!!
Yea norms buck is a typical nasty looking Alberta bush buck. It scored 147" One more elk to get starting on the 20th pics to fallow.
