			every trailer i've ever seen, you had to cut the cross beams out and weld new ones in.  this would be a major pia.  might be good to post a pic

			so the hanger bolts to the frame and then the cross beam drops in and thru bolts to the bracket?  never seen that, seems kinda weak and prone to rust. i just replaced the tongue on my trailer with a piece of 4x3 galvanized tubing 8 ft long, it was $100 from a local trailer shop. might just get the hangers from EZ and the beams locally. if your not launching the boat, just trying to make it mobile, why not jack it up and just put a 4x4 across on top of the the frame and lay the boat on it while you move it. |
