Someone told me you lost a fish that was MUCH bigger than that the same day.
I heard it was 25' long and looked something like a cross between a Great White and a Thresher. I heard it was estimated at 2,000lbs or more. Don't tell us the story...........it's too scary !! You're hard core all right. |

I took the family to dinner at Bahrs Landing at Sandy Hook this evening (went by boat) and a guy had a Thresher (pics below). And when I was heading home I passes a guy with one - the unmistakable tail was in the cockpit. The tail alone was 6 foot long. That is so awesome you caught one in a V. My son loved the pictures.
