Default more progress July 2014

I've got a few things done in the past few weeks. Trying to be ready for the water by this weekend for the BB raft-up. It won't be finished completely by then but it should have the essentials.

Great work Keith! That thing should really rip with that 3 litre Merc. Looking forward to seeing it next week.

Launched the boat for a sea-trial yesterday afternoon. A few hours shy of being able to run down to the tices raftup unfortunately. The 3.0L turned up 5850rpm at 56 mph. Running a Mercury lazer 2 19P. I was impressed with the handling. Tracked super straight and level with no pull or hook coming into and out of large boat wakes. I have dual batts under console, full tank of gas. 12x12 trim tabs installed but not hooked up yet. And no porpoising. It ran quite level and def not too much weight aft as I was worried about. It's coming out today to get bottom paint and deck drains next week.
