Unhappy

If she was within a couple hours drive I'd be on my way.

EDIT: Has a trailer too, Damn, make that 3-4 hours drive. One of y'all Snaggers drag her back this way coming home from Lumberslinger's Get-Together.

Bradford,
I'll be driving to NC in July. Meet me halfway, say somewhere near the I95 / I40 interchange. We can make a deal.

Rick

Rick

Someone talk me out of this please.

What kind of trailer?

Please say it's an undersized and rusted out painted steel pipe trailer with a single axle and a set of dry rotted 4.80 x 12 tires on it.

Trailer is not great, but not bad either. No brakes, and round tubular axles show rust on the bottoms. Can't tell if it's surface or all the way through. But the trailer is like a 1969 and still in good shape I guess because it's galvanized channel.

The trailer is a 1974 and it is dual axle. Correct me if I'm wrong Reel but I believe it was used primarily in fresh water when you owned it which may account for it's long life. Regardless it is in very good condition for a 1974 trailer. It does need brakes, it needs lights fixed, and it needs at least one tire. It's not undersized. I assume since it is the same year as Reel's old boat, that the trailer was originally set up for a V20 and has never been used for anything else.

So, Bradford meet me on the 19th of July to pick up your new boat?

After pondering it I've come to my senses and will have to pass. If it were local I'd be all for it. I've got a few in the yard already with two more on the horizon. It's a great deal for someone who can play with fiberglass and has access to an engine they can hang on her.

I am interested in the cover depending on price plus shipping if it comes available.

You might go crazy again, plenty of time until the middle of July.

rb, sorry about the year mix up. I knew it had a few years on it but couldn't remember how many. My point is, it does not look new but beyond that you can't really tell how old it is. I would bring a tire or two, a jack, a hub, angle iron, and some exhaust clamps and tow it as far as I needed to go. Same list of items I would have for any trailer of unknown condition. But if someone just told me 1974 without seeing it, I may have thought rollback as my first thought.

If I could get it in the driveway by my wife it would be gone already.
