Yes. They are just the 18 watt versions I got on Ebay($20 a piece if you buy 8, and they will mix and match the 30 and 60 degree beam pattern for you), but they put out alot of light. I got a set on one of the mowers, and my neighbor thought aliens had landed the first time I used them. They don't project out the farthest(downfall of LED's), but within 30-40 feet they are blinding. I couldn't imagine having the 48 watt ones that are out there.

It looks like my time with my little old JOHNSON will be coming to an end. Last time out with my 2 year old, he leaned up against the hull side and got burned pretty bad, so momma said I had to do something. I had already carpeted the seats, but didn't want to go through all the hassle of adding a floor to cover the ribs, and carpeting all of it. So if I want to keep momma happy, and take us all out at the same time, I have to get a different boat. I did some work yesterday for a friend of mine, and he told me that a friend of ours was getting ready to get rid of his CAROLINA SKIFF because he hasn't used it, and his kids stopped using it as well. So I went and talked to him this morning, and he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. It's a 2005 CAROLINA SKIFF 19DLX(flat bottom model), with a 2005 HONDA 75HP carbed engine on it, aluminum trailer, re upholstered seats last year, and bimini top for $4K. The boat has less than 100 hours on it, and has seen saltwater less than 10 times in it's whole life. It needs the carbs gone through in it, new control cables, battery and a few other things from sitting, but for $4K for a like new CAROLINA SKIFF with 4 stroke power, I think I'm making out like a bandit. I know on CL others are going for $6-9K down here, so if anything I can flip it and double my money. So my little JOHNSON and TRACKEr will be up for sale here soon if anybody needs a pond jumper/skinny water boat.

You'd better turn out the lights and pretend you're not home when the cops show up 'cause you STOLE that thing!

I think the 19 is the best all around size. Is it the 1965 or 1980 model? Mines a 65.

It's one of the 1965's. I would rather have the 1980, but for this price beggars can't be choosers. The boat origanally belonged to a friends dad who bought it to use on lake george, but he got alzheimer less than a month after buying it, and the family didn't trust him out alone on it, so it got parked for 7 years. When he passed his son got it(my friend) from the estate for $4K, and he went in partners with another friend expecting to use the boat alot between the two of them. The friend who got it used it once, so he sold his part to the other friend, and he used it twice, and his kids used it twice. So after it being used less than 10 times in 4 years, and having brought it to me 3 times to have the carbs cleaned out from sitting, he decided to get rid of it. She's a little dirty from sitting, but for this price I can do some scrubbing. Gotta get my taxes done tommorrow to make sure we can afford to buy it and wait for my jon boat to sell.

And I was wanting a bit bigger boat so I could go out off the beaches and troll for mackeral again. I didn't feel that comfortable doing it in a 16 foot flat bottom boat jon boat, so I haven't been in years.

I like the 1965 because it will fit in my back gate with no problems. The gate and space between the house and side fence is only 9 feet wide and I can back the skiff in the backyard with my 4Runner. The 1965 also trails a lot nicer behind your vehicle. The 1965 will be a whole lot more boat than your other one. Perfect for inshore or trolling off the beaches like you said.

Mine is stripped down right now. I removed the rear deck, console, and cooler seat. Gonna put in a custom, no frills, low profile console moved back about a foot, move the battery and fuel tank forward under the console, 31 inch wide leaning post, glass the new front deck to the hull, and glass in some pvc rigging tubes along side the the starboard gunnel. Gonna paint everything to match my V-20; Awlgrip oyster white on everything, with a light blue deck. Picked up a deal on a 2012 dealer demo inline 90 ETEC with hardly any hours and a warranty til 2022.

I love how shallow she will float, but never knew a 6 inch chop could be so bad.
