i had just learned to scuba dive when that came out. first couple of months i dove, all i was doing was looking over my shoulder the whole dive.
my favorite line was when Hooper was about to get in the shark cage, " Ain't got no spit" that was our mantra while diving that summer. great movie, thanks for the link

Jaws is one of my all time favorites. The Inside Story video was great to watch.

Sorry... I don't share the enthusiasm that some do for old wood boats. My first boat larger than a rowboat was a 17' lapstrake Grady White. Solid boat, with good lines... but the yearly scraping, calking and painting was simply a pain in the a$$. I'll stick with fiberglass boats thank you.

Yesterday when I got home from work my 15 and 13 year old daughters asked out of the blue if I had ever seen Jaws...yes...is it scary?...yes, but I was 9 then.
So they said they were going to watch it...they are watching it again tonight.
