Thanks Guys, I have tryed for a lot but because my other house is not fourclosed on yet they say I own 2 houses so I don't comply.
That said I have a new app in for SSI and my advocate at dialyssis has given them all they need and they called me the other day and said all set but they take a few months to decide. Advocate said that they will give it but in there own time as there is no deining my disabilty now that I am on dialysis. So I am hoping for sooner then later. My wife is on SSI for 35 years, she is leagly blind, but after wer pay for the mobile park fee we live on $300 a month, it doesn't go far with these pricices today!! the big killer is the oil heat I am going to starve soon if it doesn'get warm , and now another 6"+ tomorrow! I will make it some how, just vrenting a bit.

MJ - Have you called citizens energy?

http://www.citizensenergy.com/assist...rams/joe-4-oil

It won't help this year, but worth a call.

I hope things turn around for you all soon. There's money out there for you, just gotta figure out how to get it. Praying for you and your wife to have a better life from here on out!

I'm not up to date on this stuff but have you heard of or looked into giving the bank a "deed in lieu of foreclosure" to get rid of the other house? You need to get competent advice on the subject - if there are any active Realtors on the site or if you know one, they might be familiar with the process. Where I am the local Realtor association has a lawyer who gives seminars on that kind of stuff - a Realtor might be able to tell you if it seems like a good idea and maybe get you a little free advice from their lawyer.

Another possible source of help is your federal senator or congressman. A friend of mine was getting jerked around badly by the bank, trying to get his loan modified and one of our senators was very helpful slapping the bank upside their head. If your old lender is dragging their feet, this might be a way to get them moving.

You and your wife are in my prayers and you know you have a bunch of guys here who are on your side and wishing the best for you and your family. I wish I had more concrete help to offer.
