Love this one.

My winter to do list is find Skools and kidnap him for a day to get my motor tuned.

Thanks Destroyer and Greywolf. My brother and I picked-up the boat (1987 Steplift) back in May 2013. It is in real nice shape and we fished off of it all summer and kept track of the little things that need to be done. I'll put some photographs up once the weather breaks here in NE Ohio.

LOL I was in Cleveland last weekend, visiting friends. Good to have you aboard. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your baby.

Hi to everyone here. Im a new member but long time browser

I couldn't find many photos of the boat, but here's one of it on a lake in Ontario.
what Ive done so far:
-stripped the old layered flaky bottom paint, sealed it and re-coated with some nice ablative non flaky paint
-refinished the interior, floor, woodwork, etc
-2 battery system
-new wiring, bus bar, modern fuses
-gauges because it never had any
-seastar steering
-Raycor water separator, new fuel lines
-built hatches for the cuddy, installed marine toilet under these (for the ladies)

-bimini top
-radio, speakers, glovebox in console, knobs, screws, paint, grease, etc

This is an ongoing project. I might pick around at it over the summer but I mostly reserve a weekend or two in the spring to get the big improvements done.

This year:
I found a 1997 Evinrude 200 for short $. The guy it came from upgraded to a Yamaha 4 stroke and didnt know what to do with it. $500.00 later and its mine! So this spring I'm taking of the 1990 140 Evinrude and making the switch. I dont expect any efficiency improvements but it should add a lot to the overall performance
