As I understood it that "wire" is a kevlar thread and I believe it is only strong enough to control the flight path/pattern ... I believe it would instantly snap if one projectile hit a body and the others missed it allowing them to continue to additional hit points

btw... G-22 has hollow points in it... guaranteed bad day there too
