y'see, that's good for me and i'll tell you why. it looks like as of 12:01am sunday morning, the LIRR, the nation's largest commuter railroad is on strike.
my union says this could possibly go two weeks but I cant see the greater new York economy shutting down for two weeks. I figure we get forced back after a couple days. then when all is settled i'm expecting a modest retro check. hopefully it wont all go towards money lost during the strike.
