spary rails on a sportfisherman are to knock the spray down off of the last maybe rear 2/3 of the boat and keeps the boat from picking up water and tossing it in the cockpit/common areas. sportfishermans are whole different breed. they pick up just as much water with the flare in the rough and throw it all over the front of the boat the difference is its 30 foot or so longer and about 8 to 10 foot taller on the bow.

I remember BCMarinamanager was going to install spray rails, don't know if he is still around or not. Would be worth a pm.

X2 on enclosure. I run with just the bimini and front window in warm weather. If I had a nickel for every bucket of water that WOULD have hit me square in the face I'd be a very rich man. Takes all the wind out of your face as well, makes it easier to have a conversation with passengers, etc.

In cold weather I put the whole enclosure on and throw a propane heater in there....makes it nice and cozy.

Just did some quick research on the spray rails....seems like they will cut some of the spray....but not all of it. Personally, I still would not want to deal with even a quarter of a bucket to the face every 30 seconds but I guess you could say I am kinda on the sissy side when it comes to the elements.

There was V20 on THT that had spray rails. Good pics to show location.
