number 16 checking in. true, I don't currently own a boat of any make but that's got nothing to do with time spent on the computer. this is merely a money issue.
don't mean to air my dirty laundry but over the last 6 months I've lost a lot of money at work. been late with a mortgage payment or two. my credit which was excellent has gone to sh!t. I will start to make more money come November at which time i'll be able to put away a few bucks. it'll probably be a few more years before I can afford another boat but in the meantime i'm keeping my eyes open for one of those once in a lifetime deals.
I'LL BE BACK!!

Couple of weeks ago my wife told one of her cousins "my husband is so sorry he won't even put the boat in the water, we have three of them just sitting in the yard waiting to go".

Little does she know (not counting a canoe) 5 of the 10 dispersed between ours and Daddy's yards are mine.

wow, interesting list, made me think whatever happened to some of the members, like skools , franco, etc. we went out in the v 4 days over the long weekend, guess i'm lucky, got a wife that loves the water and boating more than i do. i have owned this boat 23 years and my "new" motor is 20 years old. i'm probably crazy, but i am thinking about repowering again.

Sandy was a turn around for me, the boat I had wanted for my whole life and just obtained got destroyed after owning it for less than a month.
Then I had to use the little insurance money for damage on the house and other repairs.
So I decided to take a year off away from the salt. Been running so much with work and family things going on that I have not even had time for any real fresh water fishing.
This is all going to change, hopefully soon.
One constant has been the good friends I have made here, and appreciate more than you know.
