Use the picture of this dusky as reference for engine height. It appears to be a 25" engine that's mounted on its highest mounting hole on that bracket, with the bracket mounted that high. It could probably run well at an even higher setting but he's run out of room. With what appears to around 30" set back, I'd guess the propshaft is about even with the bottom of that boat. He really needs a 20" motor on that boat.

Pretty sure that's a 30" shaft engine. The shortest shaft you can get one in is a 25", and you can see the 5" spacer in it so it's got to be a 30". Also you can see the transom wedges he has between it and the bracket to be able to trim it in more. By the looks of it he has the bracket in the correct location for a 30" shaft engine as you can see the bracket goes almost all the way up to the transom cap. That boat needs about 300 pounds less weight in the stern, and an ARMSTRONG high flotation bracket on it.

Yep, your right. I'd removed that spacer and replaced/shortened that shaft. It can't help have that much weight that high up

That is an accident waiting to happen, boats sitting like that are very dangerous. Almost an instant swamp with a decent wave or wake hitting it wrong.
If I bought that boat I would sell that Verado and power that sweet hull with a nice 150-175 and laugh all the way to the bank.
