The subsequent press conference to the video indicated that the perp carjacked the vehicle at gunpoint, shot at the pursuing officers out the back glass and tried to run the officers over with the getaway car during the chase. He was even exchanging rounds with the officers in that blue Challenger parked there, I think. Kind of surreal.
