Two questions:
How does it not pour back out from the bottom? Why does she have to touch where I drink from?

Good for the immune system. They interviewed some like 110 year old lady in India asking about the secret to her old age. She said she ate a handful of dirt every day.
You should actually thank her for touching your cup like that.  And no, I'm not serious. She should be fired and they should hire a pretty blond. Then no one will care or notice what happens to the cups and they will sell 2x beer.
